Overview

Johnston Law Group PLLC is first and foremost a transactional law practice, where we focus exclusively on our core competencies, namely: estate planning and elder law, tax planning and compliance, business planning, real estate, special needs trusts, estate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, charitable giving, and family cabin succession planning.  We believe that we give our clients a winning combination—not only are our skills, experience, and breadth of knowledge in our core practice areas comparable to what you would receive from a large law firm, but you also get the additional benefit of one-on-one service from professionals who are a part of your own community.

We have also developed a trusted network of other attorneys who practice other types of law.  Thus, if a legal matter falls outside of our core practice areas, we will help you find other professionals who are suited to handle these other matters.

Our main office is located in historic downtown Chaska, Minnesota.  While our clients typically come to us from the south and western half of the Twin Cities metro area (western Hennepin County, Carver County, Scott County, Wright County, Dakota County, Sibley County, Le Sueur County, Meeker County, McLeod County, Rice County), we also represent clients who are farther afield by utilizing the latest technology to make such long distance representation successful and convenient.
